Arte & Sapori is a gourmet take-away offering the very best of Veneto cuisine: first and second courses, snacks and desserts all made from the finest, freshest ingredients, carefully selected and masterfully prepared by chef Claudio Merlo.

At Arte & Sapori, you can purchase preserves, jams and fresh pasta prepared according to recipes that have been jealously guarded and handed down from generation to generation, along with elaborate and creative dishes for presentation and sharing on special occasions and at private receptions.

The business has been running for ten years, and for the last two has been operating from new premises with a beautiful open kitchen that allows customers to observe, step by step, the preparation of the dishes they order.

FOR A WIDER OFFERING

Claudio Merlo turned to Enofrigo with the aim of extending his offering, firstly by complementing his food menu with a selection of accompanying wines, and secondly by giving better visibility to his desserts, jams, preserves and fresh pasta, all of which deserved greater space though they did not represent the take-away’s core business. To satisfy these needs, the Enofrigo cabinet had to draw the customer’s attention and, naturally, display all the specialities at the perfect temperature.

i.Am, CONTEMPORARY AND WELCOMING, FOR SPECIAL FOODS AND WINES

Once we had presented our range of displays, the customer’s choice fell spontaneously on our i.Am family.

Arte & Sapori chose:

  • Two i.Am 2000 ventilated units (single temperature), of 75cm in depth.

    One of these displays is now used for white and sparkling wines, the other for red wines.

    The 75 cm deep model was chosen because of its generous capacity (the shop also had a niche deep enough to house it) while the ventilated version was specified to maintain a single, uniform display temperature.

  • One i.Am 2000 FIT, ventilated (single temperature), 55cm deep.

    This cabinet is now used to display the preserves, jams, desserts and pasta.

    In this case a reduced depth unit was chosen because the space in the area where it was destined to stand was rather limited.

    A ventilated version was again chosen for its uniform temperature.

THE RIGHT DEPTH FOR ALL SITUATIONS

The solutions Enofrigo recommended come in two depths. Thanks to this flexibility, display capacity could be maximised for the wine cabinets, where space was sufficient, while choosing a FIT version allowed the preserves cabinet to be installed in a highly visible though tight space.

And i.Am’s easy but stylish design is perfectly in line with the professional philosophy of chef Claudio Merlo.

Another well-appreciated feature was the choice of colour for the door surround, as this allowed the new cabinets to match existing furnishings perfectly.
